Food has been an integral part of Angelos Petropulos’s life, with his family having a long-standing Greek bakery in Boston before their move to Greece. During his time in Greece, he honed his culinary skills, earning a degree from Alpine Center in Athens and gaining experience at a five-star resort in Vouliagmeni. Upon returning to Boston, he further refined his expertise, which ultimately led to the creation of Kosmos. He partnered with his good friend, Chef Luis Figueroa, to bring his vision of authentic Greek cuisine to Boston. “The kitchen staff at Kosmos is fantastic, and it takes a village to create the restaurant’s success,” Petropulos explains. “Alongside Luis and I, they work tirelessly to create and execute the menu of authentic Greek dishes that we’re known for. The whole team takes great pride in their work and is always looking for ways to take the dining experience to the next level for guests.
