Lafolia Restaurant Joins the DMK Empire in New York City
Lafolia Restaurant is part of the growing DMK empire led by famed restaurateur David Morton.” The restaurant is an underground oasis with a lush and inviting atmosphere; it’s a unique escape for city dwellers who can enjoy all-day dining options for all tastes that feature ingredients sourced from top regional farms,” Morton told us.
The Menu at Lafolia Restaurant
The menu features a variety of Italian-inspired dishes, including Heritage Bacon Carbonara and Cippolini Stuffed Flatbread. “The menu was curated from a twelve-month travel dine-around with DMK’s culinary and creative team,” Chef Mirra Sims explained. “We found beautiful preparations and lots of inspiration from a wide variety of iconic dining destinations in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas.”
In addition to the a la carte menu, Lafolia Restaurant also has a lively happy hour and numerous menu highlights that are sure to please any palate. “There are so many choices!” Sims said when asked about what menu standouts. “But standouts include Heritage Bacon Carbonara and Cippolini Stuffed Flatbread with celery root mole.” The menu reflects the lush atmosphere, boasting dishes paired with locally and sustainably sourced meats and seafood.
The Design at Lafolia
The Gardens at 780 provide a fantastic setting for the delightful menu. “Lafolia was designed by A+I and is located in a brand-new luxury office space, named after its lush landscaping—The Gardens—and tucked away underground,” Morton told us. “The space is flooded with natural light during the day from multiple skylights throughout. The interior of the restaurant takes on a more intimate appeal with lounge seating, dimmed lighting, and the best cocktail program in midtown.”
