This man created delicious pastries such as cannoli, biscotti, cakes, cookies, marzipan, pies, famous lobster tails, etc. and drew people from all over to his shop to enjoy. There is always a line in and out of his bakery. People seldom visit the neighborhood without bringing home special treats carried inside a white box with the store’s name in bright blue fond tied with a string bow. The bakery opens Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Parziale’s Bakery
Parziale’s Bakery is another Italian bakery in North End. It carries bread, pizza, biscuits, cookies and pastries. It also sells its bread and pizzas to some of the retailers and restaurants in Boston. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tatte Bakery and Cafe
Tatte Bakery and Café was founded by Tzurit Or, a self-taught pastry chef, in 2007. Her goal is to have a place for the community to gather, feel welcome and at home. Though each location has its own identity and style, the primary purpose stays the same.
