Delicious Summer Restaurant Week Specials in NYC

KRAAM

Nestled in the heart of Nomad, KRAAM is a new Thai restaurant that excels in both originality and tradition through the use of premium, seasonal ingredients. During Restaurant Week, KRAAM is offering a delightful 2-course prix-fixe lunch menu for $30 and a sumptuous 3-course prix-fixe dinner menu for $60. The lunch menu boasts enticing dishes like Larb Hed, a spicy grilled mushroom salad with toasted rice, mint, and shallot, and Kang Kua Grilled Salmon, served atop egg noodles with a spicy southern Thai curry and market vegetables. For those with a penchant for plant-based cuisine, the Ka Prow Plant-Based Short Ribs sautéed with long green chili, garlic, and basil and served with rice is a must-try. The dinner menu elevates the experience with dishes such as Hoi Yang, featuring seared scallops with crispy shallot, mint, chili jam, and cherry tomato-infused Umeshu. Another standout is the Koong Yang, which presents grilled river prawns topped with spicy Thai guacamole, chili jam, and crispy shrimp chips. The Tom Klong Chilean Sea Bass, roasted in lemongrass and kaffir lime broth, is sure to leave diners wanting more.

Kips Bay

During Restaurant Week, Riverpark offers a delightful dining experience for $60, featuring a three-course dinner. Patrons can enjoy their meals on a spacious outdoor patio, perfect for staying cool during the summer. The menu opens with enticing first-course options like Burrata served with Kumato tomato, basil, pickled garlic, and focaccia or a refreshing Gazpacho accompanied by grilled peach and tomato. Main course highlights include an Amish chicken breast paired with runner beans, sweet baby pepper, and sunchoke, and Branzino presented with sweet corn purée, baby squash, and tomato. To finish, diners can indulge in summer desserts such as Strawberry Shortcake with homemade biscuits, strawberry compote, and Chantilly cream or a Peach Cobbler Cake with vanilla ice cream.

Kintsugi Omakase

Hidden within the chic neighborhood of Soho, Kintsugi Omakase is a refined sushi atelier that provides an intimate dining experience with just ten seats at its jewel box sushi counter. During Restaurant Week, Kintsugi Omakase entices diners with a 12-course prix-fixe menu priced at $60 per person. Guests have the option to elevate their experience by adding a seasonal sake flight for an additional $30 or a premium seasonal uni handroll for $30. The menu changes based on seasonal and ingredient availability, offering specialties such as housemade Japanese potato salad with Arctic sweet shrimp, Orata seabream from Greece, Hokkaido scallops, Spanish mackerel from North Carolina, soy-marinated lean tuna, and Hokkaido sea urchin. Kintsugi Omakase serves lunch from Friday to Sunday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner from Monday to Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., except for Wednesdays. Each seating is reserved for 60 minutes, with intervals starting hourly.

Versa

For a delightful rooftop lunch experience during Restaurant Week, head over to Versa in Midtown, where a two-course lunch is priced at $30, with an optional $6 dessert supplement. Appetizers feature options like Chilled Tomato Gazpacho, Caesar Salad, and Grilled Asparagus Salad. Main courses include pineapple ginger-glazed Norwegian salmon, spicy chiocciole alla vodka, grilled chicken bacon, and avocado wrap served with fries. To round off the meal, diners can treat themselves to desserts such as a Warm Chocolate Brownie with salted caramel and whipped mascarpone or a classic Strawberry Shortcake.

Casa Bond

Step into the exotic, Tulum-inspired atmosphere of Casa Bond during NYC’s Restaurant Week and indulge in a sumptuous three-course prix-fixe dinner menu priced at $60 per person. This esteemed Mexican restaurant presents an enticing array of dishes, starting with Ceviche de Coco, a refreshing mix of fluke, coconut milk, Fresno chili, jalapeño, red onions, and canchita maíz. For the main course, savor the Gobernador, an exquisite blend of shrimp and steak on a flour tortilla complemented by chihuahua cheese, tomato, and poblano. Another highlight is the Pollo Borracho, featuring a pan-seared, semi-boneless half chicken in a Negra Modelo beer-butter reduction with cremini mushrooms. The Press Club Grill

For a nostalgic dining experience during Restaurant Week, The Press Club Grill offers a two-course lunch for $30 and a three-course dinner for $60. At lunch, start with dishes like Roasted Beets or an Onion Dip served with housemade potato chips and Ritz crackers, followed by main courses such as Garganelli alla Norma with fairy tale eggplant or a Smashed Meatball Parmigiana. NoMad’s chic Asian dining destination, Hortus NYC, will be offering a delightful 2-course lunch prix-fixe menu and a 3-course dinner prix-fixe menu during NYC Restaurant Week. Priced at $45 for lunch and $60 for dinner, guests can choose to dine in the elegant indoor dining room or enjoy the refreshing ambiance of the newly revamped enclosed backyard garden. The lunch menu, available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., showcases a selection of premium Sotbaps, featuring delectable options like Truffle Wagyu and King Crab with Uni. For dinner, served from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the menu elevates the dining experience with exquisite dishes such as Yuzu Bacon Rose Pasta and Cod with a gochujang crust atop lobster risotto. Additionally, the menu includes an indulgent Sea Urchin with nori puree and truffle.

Pineapple Club

Nestled in the heart of East Village, Pineapple Club’s stylish tiki-themed cocktail bar and restaurant entices with a delightful 3-course prix-fixe dinner menu during NYC’s summer Restaurant Week, priced at $45 per guest. Available from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the menu, curated by Executive Chef Timothy Silva (formerly of Jean-Georges Mercer Kitchen), showcases globally inspired dishes. Starters feature a refreshing Mahi Mahi ceviche with coconut milk, pineapple, and sweet potato noodles, served with crispy tortilla chips. Entrées include options like a succulent New York Strip Steak with chimichurri and yucca fries accompanied by spicy lime ketchup, as well as a vibrant Tropical Hawaiian Tuna Poke Bowl with pineapple mango salsa, papaya, crispy fried plantain, cucumbers, and wild sea beans. The meal concludes with desserts such as Key Lime Pie or a Kiwi and Coconut Sorbet Sundae. Please note that beverages are not included in the prix-fixe pricing.

Marseille

During Restaurant Week, Marseille, the quintessential French brasserie in Hell’s Kitchen, entices locals, theater-goers, and tourists with menus curated by Chef Xavier Monge. For lunch, they offer a $30 two-course meal that begins with appetizers like Pistou, a niçoise vegetable soup with basil pesto, and Haricots Verts Salade, which features blue cheese and créme fraîche. Main course options include Summer Risotto, prepared with yellow corn and zucchini, and Grilled Yellowfin Tuna, served with eggplant caponata. Adding dessert is an option for an extra $10. The three-course dinner, priced at $45, features the same appetizers and a selection of mains such as Whole Trout Riviera, stuffed with spinach and confit tomato, Fresh Mafalde Pasta, adorned with summer truffles, and Pork Chop Schnitzel, paired with arugula and radicchio. Diners can select a dessert from the regular menu, making for a truly delightful dining experience.
