Las Vegas locals are a wealth of knowledge for tourists, and our city’s fantastic performers are incredibly knowledgeable about everything great in Vegas. We chatted with Mariah Rivera from one of the Strip’s hottest acts (also known as the Strip’s “Sexiest Tease”) about her show and her Las Vegas favorites.

The Interview

WG- How did you get your start as a performer?
Rivera- I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and have aspired to dance on the Strip for as long as I can remember. When I turned 18, I moved to Las Vegas, and after a few auditions, my dream of becoming a professional dancer came true.

WG- How do you describe your show?
Rivera- FANTASY is “the Strip’s biggest tease,” and we have recreated the Las Vegas showgirl in a contemporary style, incorporating dance as our focus. Every night, we have eight beautiful dancers, Lorena Peril as our fabulous headliner, aerial acrobatics and more. Our show is incredibly entertaining and has that Las Vegas dazzle. You’ll love it if you’re in town with friends or your significant other.

WG- How long have you lived in Las Vegas?
Rivera- I’ve lived in Las Vegas since I was 18 and have never looked back. Through its incredible strength, pizzaz and charisma, the city is unlike any other and offers endless opportunities.

WG- What is your favorite thing about living in Las Vegas?
Rivera- The entertainment is unbeatable. Any night of the week, you can see a spectacular show, enjoy live music and attend sporting events.

WG- Where is your favorite spot to bring family and friends?
Rivera- The conservatory and botanical gardens and Fountain of Bellagio are always a must-see!

WG- If someone asks you for dinner reservations in Las Vegas, what do you suggest?|
Rivera- There are so many amazing restaurants in Las Vegas, but I would suggest Tender at the Luxor for its delicious steak and seafood. Also, I love dinner and a show, so Mayfair at the Bellagio is another great option.

WG- Where are some of your favorite places to go and things to do in Vegas on your day off?
Rivera- On my days off, I try to beat the heat by going up to Mount Charleston for a relaxing hike with my dogs.
