French cuisine is often considered the most luxurious of fine dining. That said, it’s no wonder Las Vegas has so many wonderful options for those in search of a lavish meal. Check out this list of French restaurant experiences for every occasion.

The Foodie Experience

Situated just west of the Strip in Chinatown, Partage is a local favorite among foodies all over the city. I recently visited for a hosted media tasting and was astonished by the attention to detail and layer of flavors found in each course. The restaurant offers three, five and seven-course options, so there’s a meal option for every budget (three-course meals start at $70 with optional add-one and upgrades for an additional charge). Menus generally change every month, so there’s always something new to try on every single visit. If you’re dining with a group, the private room comfortably seats up to 12 people, and the table projection can be customized for your party. If you’re looking for a truly memorable date night or small celebration, try the Chef’s Table. You’ll get a direct view into the kitchen so you can watch the chefs make their delightful masterpieces.

The Neighborhood Experience

Tucked away in the heart of Summerlin, OhLaLa French Bistro provides a stylish option for French cuisine in a cozy neighborhood environment. The authentic cuisine and comfortable ambiance are a fantastic pair, and the restaurant is perfect for intimate meals or group celebrations. Menu stand-outs include the moules frites, charcuterie and the warm crusted pistachio goat cheese (with fresh bread, of course). You also can’t go wrong with the restaurant’s selection of truly luscious desserts like the Chocolate Liegeois or the crème brûlée. OhLaLa French Bistro serves lunch and dinner along with a fantastic weekend brunch.

The Elegant Experience

Stepping into Bardot Brasserie inside Aria Las Vegas feels a bit like stepping back in time. The stunning dining room provides an old-world ambiance, while the menu of contemporary French cuisine and classic dishes is a fantastic culinary experience. The Bardot Wellington (a meal served for two people) is possibly one of the best things you can eat in Las Vegas, and even the salads get an elevated twist (the king crab and endive caesar salad is an editor’s favorite). Don’t forget the side dishes— the macaroni and Mimolette gratinée is a perfect treat for mac and cheese lovers.

The Luxe Experience

If you’re in the mood for fine dining and money is indeed not a concern, book a table at Restaurant Guy Savoy inside Caesars Palace. The Five-Star Celebration menu is a perfect luxe celebration priced at $555 per person with a high-end wine pairing to complement your meal. The a la cart menu is considerably smaller than most restaurants; however, everything on the menu is genuinely decadent (seafood lovers should try the lobster tortellini while carnivores love the American Wagyu filet). Dessert is also a divine experience with sweets such as the “Coconut Six Ways” or the “Forêt Noire en Cornet” (think cherries and chocolate).

The Outdoor Experience

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas is a perfect option for more casual French dining. With the fantastic location just underneath the Eiffel Tower, Mon Ami Gabi provided a great outdoor dining experience (think the Las Vegas version of sidewalk dining) and plenty of people watching. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch (there’s a fantastic lunch prix fixe menu available), dinner and brunch, and it’s especially delightful in the spring and fall months when the weather is at its best. The menu is as adventurous as you’re comfortable with—the restaurant serves a variety of items from roast chicken and seared salmon to French staples escargot and chicken liver mousse páté. Don’t forget dessert—the profiteroles and the gala apple tart tatin are divine.

The Celebration Experience

If you’re celebrating a special occasion (or just really hoping to wow on date night), you can’t go wrong with the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas. With a stunning view overlooking the Fountains at Bellagio, the Eiffel Tower provides all the ambiance you need for a perfect night out. The varied menu consists of French classics like French onion soup and warm foie gras, in addition to elevated items like the grand seafood platter or the restaurant’s selection of caviar options. The restaurant also offers several set menu options, including a Sunset Seating, so you can pick an option that will work best for your evening and budget. Of course, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant is well-versed in romantic evenings, so there’s also a selection of Dinner Proposal packages for the most romantic evening.

The Hidden Experience

For the ultimate French dining experience in Las Vegas, book a table at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. The late world-renowned “Chef of the Century,” Joël Robuchon, left a piece of his famed legacy in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. The entry is hidden just off the casino floor and transports you to a plush dining room (that looks like it’s never even seen a casino). Here, you have the option to try items from a variety of tasting menus—each designed to fit your appetite and, to an extent, your budget. The tasting menus include some of the restaurant’s stand-out options like the veal sweetbreads or the beef and foie gras burgers. You can also pick your own a la cart choices from the menu, like the langoustine fritters or the Wagyu beef ribeye. If you’re hoping to save a little money, try the Pre-Theatre menu, which is served in the earlier dinner hours. For an authentic gastronomic experience, try the Seasonal Discovery menu. No matter which option you choose, make sure to try one of the desserts (like the Green chartreuse soufflé, pistachio ice cream).
