Worry ‘Bout Nothin’ With Keith Urban in Las Vegas

Keith Urban’s limited residency at Bakkt Theater (formerly Zappos Theater) inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas is a high-energy concert series perfect for country fans and music aficionados from all genres. We were invited in to check out the show with members of local media. From the high-energy opening notes of “Tumbleweed” to the powerful finale of “Wasted Time,” audiences were treated to a nonstop energy of hits and fan favorites. Upcoming dates for the show currently include summer dates on June 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30 and July 1, and fall dates on November 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18.

From the opening song through tracks like The Fighter, the dynamic set continues, with audiences being enticed to take part in the show. “There are signs everywhere saying we strongly encourage you to stand and participate and be a part of this show,” Urban announced during the performance. “If you want to sing, if you want to dance, if you want to completely forget about all the shit going on outside in this world, in your life and lose yourself to share joy for the next two hours, Vegas, are you with me?” Throughout the lively set, slower songs like Without You, You’ll Think of Me, and Blue Ain’t Your Color allowed audiences a moment to sit back and take in the show.

In addition to performing some of his biggest songs, Urban also included a few special features in his setlist. Like most country performers, Urban takes a momentary break to introduce each of his band members but takes the intro one step further by giving them all a lengthier opportunity to showcase their own talents in solo sections. This brief interlude helped highlight the immense skill possessed by each member and gave fans an even greater appreciation for the quality of Urban’s live performances.
