This Season’s Unprecedented Lineup of Terrifying Haunted Houses

The fog is rising, the screams are echoing, and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort is back to unleash an unprecedented season of terror. With a record-breaking lineup of 10 haunted houses, this year’s event promises to push the boundaries of fear like never before. From blockbuster film franchises to all-original nightmares, you’ll be plunged into a world of horror where every turn could be your last. This guide details the thrilling, heart-pounding experiences that await the bravest horror fans of 2025.

Fallout

For the first time ever, horror fans can step into the post-apocalyptic world of Prime Video’s Fallout, in an all-new terrifying haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. Based on the acclaimed video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, the experience begins in Vault 33, where guests must follow Lucy MacLean and escape a bloody massacre. After making it to the surface, you’ll find yourself in the hellish Wasteland, a land crawling with mutated creatures and desperate survivors. You’ll travel through iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart and encounter feared characters such as the ageless bounty hunter, The Ghoul, all while avoiding Raiders and mutant RAD Roaches.

Five Nights at Freddy’s

Your fight for survival begins now inside a haunted house inspired by the 2023 film Five Nights at Freddy’s, the box-office smash from Blumhouse. The experience thrusts you into the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, where the terror is relentless. As you navigate the dark, claustrophobic corridors, you’ll discover that the animatronics—Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake—are anything but innocent. These full-scale, nightmare-inducing characters, brought to life in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, are stalking you through iconic scenes like the security room, making you feel every bit like the prey.

WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks

Prepare to be plunged into a world of maniacal madness in WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, a haunted house that honors the sinister legacy of Bray Wyatt. This bi-coastal nightmare invites you to face off against Uncle Howdy and his terrifying crew, one of the most unsettling factions in WWE history. As you journey through their domains, each more horrific than the last, you’ll be hunted by Ramblin Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch, and Huskus the Pig.

Terrifier

Dare to enter the gruesome Funhouse of Art the Clown in the all-new Terrifier haunted house, inspired by the slasher film franchise that has terrorized filmgoers for years. This grisly nightmare takes you into Art’s world of sadistic torture. You’ll witness his grotesque handiwork and encounter his infamous victims as you desperately try to escape. Chaos reigns in the Clown Café, a revolting bathroom hides unspeakable horrors, and holiday cheer turns deadly in a Christmas nightmare.

Jason Universe

Evil doesn’t stay dead. Halloween Horror Nights gives rise to horror movie icon Jason from the infamous Friday the 13th films in the all-original haunted house, Jason Universe. This is a blood-soaked mashup of all the different timelines of Jason, taking you on a vengeance tour through the summer camp where his gruesome legend was born.

Beyond the Houses: Scare Zones and Live Entertainment

The terror doesn’t end when you leave the houses. The streets of Universal Studios Florida are filled with sinister scare zones and outrageous live entertainment.

Immersive Street Scares and Haunting Experiences

Beware as you walk through the fog, as scareactors are on the prowl in zones like Mutations: Toxic Twenties, where flappers have mutated after a toxic accident, and The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane, where a rabid cat lady and her feline children haunt a cluttered neighborhood. In street experiences like Mel’s Die-In Zombies, you’ll face the graveyard shift of zombies eager to serve you up on a platter.

World-Class Live Shows

Take a break from the screams and witness the spectacle of world-class live entertainment. This year’s shows include Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay, a sinister spectacle of pyro, aerialists, and illusions, and Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey, a ghost story rising from its watery grave to haunt the Universal Studios lagoon with towering water screens and eerie music.
