The Best Fine Dining In Boston

Eating out is always a fun thing to do, especially when you get to dress up and dine at a fancy restaurant. Being pampered with a delicious meal, attentive service and delectable dessert all sound so eventful. The only drawback is that you can’t do it too often. When you do want to choose a fine dining restaurant in Boston, the list goes on. Here are five of our favorites!

Five Fine Dining Restaurants in Boston

Abe and Louie’s Abe and Louie’s started in 1965 with Charles F. Sarkis’s philosophy of providing guests with quality cuisine and artful service in the modern restaurant business. It was named after Charles’ father and good friend. Its signature menu items include prime-age Midwestern steaks, fresh seafood along with seasonal produce. According to OpenTable, it was the most booked and also the Boston Best Steak Restaurants in March and April 2022.

Mamma Maria

Mamma Maria, located in the North End of Boston, was recently voted number 11 among all Boston restaurants by Tripadvisor. The restaurant, with five private dining rooms set in a 19th-century row house, brings strong attention to detail and service to its guests. Each private room is available to host private events. Its fall and winter menu showcases northern Italian and mountain dishes, while its summer menu focuses on the southern Italian recipes, which allow them to bring in local produce and a variety of summer seafood.

The Capital Grille

Upon entering The Capital Grille in Boston, guests are instantly embraced by its comfortable elegance. Whether it’s the dry-aged steak, the freshest seafood or their award-winning wine, the service provided is both gracious and attentive.

The restaurant believes in serving guests a dining experience with the finest and freshest ingredients and dishes prepared in a way that engages all of their senses. The Capital Grille also offers private dining for special events with a personal event coordinator, a customized menu, guidance for wine pairing and more.

Grill 23 and Bar

Established in 1983, the team at Grill 23 and Bar firmly believed that there should be a classic steakhouse, a place with quality food and superior service. Over the years, they have been able to accomplish this goal with their all-natural, dry-aged beef and fresh seafood, whether it’s their signature dishes or classic creativities. Their wine program has also held Wine Spectator’s Grand Award. To wrap up each evening, a fine collection of cigars is being offered to its guests. However, they can only enjoy it outside the restaurant.

Bistro Du Midi

Bistro du Midi offers guests a sophisticated dining experience with its well-crafted French cuisine prepared with the freshest locally-sourced ingredients. Its location being adjacent to the Public Garden provides its second-floor guests an enchanting view of the park. Private events can be arranged and will be paired with Chef’s inspired menu. Guests have the option of choosing a private, semi-private and full dining room.
