Support Maui at the 9th Island Luau in Las Vegas

The Palms Casino Resort is set to host the 9th Island Luau, a celebration of Hawaiian culture, in partnership with the Old Lahaina Luau. The event seeks to raise funds and awareness for the ongoing Maui wildfire relief efforts, with net proceeds donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.

The event will showcase the rich Hawaiian heritage through music, stories, modern hula (hula ‘auana) and Polynesian dance. The evening will feature a traveling cast of 24, including Hawaiian musicians, hula dancers, and a storyteller. The cast will consist of four musicians in the band: one solo musician, three drummers, four male dancers, eight female dancers, an emcee, a chanter, a technician, and a manager/chaperone.

The 9th Island Luau is not only a demonstration of entertainment and cultural diversity but also highlights how the Palms Casino Resort and the Old Lahaina Luau prioritize community support and giving back to the places they operate. The San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, owners of Palms Casino Resort, have a history of charitable giving and investing in the communities where they operate.

Attendees of the 9th Island Luau will enjoy a Hawaiian buffet, traditional Hawaiian lei for each guest, and even complimentary Mai Tais. Along with the entertainment provided by the performers directly from the famed Old Lahaina Luau, attendees will also receive table-side hula lessons.

The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4, and Sunday, Nov. 5, at KAOS inside Palms Casino Resort. Tickets are priced at $150 each and are available for purchase via Ticketmaster for both nights. The Palms Casino Resort, owned and operated by the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, is the first resort of its kind in Las Vegas and features 95,000 square feet of casino space, 766 hotel rooms and suites, over 190,000 square feet of meeting space, live entertainment venues, and a variety of dining options.

Overall, Palms Casino Resort and Old Lahaina Luau are demonstrating their commitment to the community by hosting the 9th Island Luau to support ongoing wildfire relief efforts in Maui. The event combines a celebration of Hawaiian culture, entertainment, and community charity, creating a unique experience for all attendees.
