Step into a world of sophistication and glamour as you enter The Boardroom, a brand-new cocktail lounge located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Fashioned Hospitality, the team behind the highly acclaimed J.Bespoke, has done it again with their latest gem. Set in the historic 601 Lexington building, The Boardroom is the perfect spot for socializing, whether with coworkers, clients, or friends. With a beverage menu full of uniquely crafted cocktails, this discrete destination offers an elevated experience for all who step through its doors. So, why settle for a run-of-the-mill bar when you could be sipping on some of the city’s best new cocktails in a sleek and stylish atmosphere? The choice is yours, and The Boardroom is ready to make your evening unforgettable.

“We recognized a need for an upscale cocktail lounge in Midtown Manhattan, where the atmosphere and beverage program were both top-notch,” Jesse and Eric Jacobs of Fashioned Hospitality told us. “The goal was to create a space where coworkers, clients and CEOs can gather, mingle and enjoy exceptional spirits—but one that also caters to anyone in the area looking for their new favorite date spot on the weekends or a place to grab a drink after work.”

Though cocktail bars are plentiful in Manhattan, the menu at The Boardroom provides some new flavors with plenty of flair. “With so much love for our cocktails at our NoMad speakeasy J.Bespoke, we knew we wanted The Boardroom’s beverage list to offer a mix of those favorites and some new innovations, too,” Jacobs and Jacobs said. “One style of cocktail we’re best known for is our coffee cocktails; alongside our twist on an espresso martini, we were excited to unveil variations of classic cocktails that revolved around coffee. Why not kill two birds with one stone? We also take the program to the next level with premiums sippers included in the Reserve Old Fashioned list.”

Of course, part of the fun of a speakeasy is the hidden aspect and fun entrance, and The Boardroom delivers with its industrial door entrance. “The Boardroom brings a hidden-in-plain-sight concept that’s not only unique to The Hugh but also to the neighborhood as a whole,” the duo said. “Having a speakeasy lounge on-site adds a new dimension to the experience at The Hugh, making it a destination for day and night.” The design also plays a significant role. “The aesthetic adds to the immersive feel of our space, transporting guests away from The Hugh and into a world that’s rich with 1960s nostalgia,” they told us. “While it’s dark, moody and sultry, details like the illuminated bar and playful art pieces keep everything energetic and inviting, appealing to a range of guests.”

“The Boardroom stands out with its speakeasy setting that sets the bar high for our expertly made cocktails, which go above and beyond other beverage offerings in the area,” Jacobs and Jacobs said of the menu and offerings. “Our selections include three reserve red wines by the glass (poured via Coravin) and several Champagnes, plus a few of our favorite local beers from breweries around New York State like Brooklyn’s Threes Brewing and Ommegang from Cooperstown.”

Fashioned Hospitality plans to keep The Boardroom intimate and cozy. “We’re looking forward to rolling out our semi-private membership program, which caters to executives in the area,” Jacobs and Jacobs said of future plans. “The Boardroom space is cozy and intimate, so we don’t expect to hold public events there, but it’s a perfect spot to rent out for office holiday parties and other smaller gatherings.”
