Enjoy Winter in Las Vegas With Igloo at Resorts World Las Vegas

The holidays may be over, but winter (if you can really call it that) is still in full swing in Las Vegas. If you’re in search of a unique way to enjoy the colder temperatures, Resorts World Las Vegas has the perfect solution—Igloo. The unique limited-time installation is presented with Zouk Group and features Veuve Clicquot. We visited for a hosted media night and got a look at just what visitors can enjoy.

A Winter Evening in Las Vegas at Igloo

The Rose Rooftop is easily accessible from the elevators near FUHU and Zouk Nightclub—you’ll want to head towards the doors that lead to the Strip, and you’ll see the elevators on your left. Take the elevators to the sixth floor and go through the doors on your left that lead to the rooftop space.

Once you arrive, you’ll see several large clear igloos that overlook the impressive Las Vegas Strip. The igloos can be booked in a variety of time slots starting at 4:30 p.m. and require a minimum spend of $350 (the igloos are pretty large, so it’s easy to fit a group in the space).

If you’re looking for more than just a quick cocktail, never fear. There’s plenty to enjoy at Igloo. Visitors can indulge in Bento Boxes featuring snacks and bites from FUHU, including menu items like the “Signature Black Pepper Beef,” FUHU fried chicken, chicken lo mein or the snow crab California roll. Campfire s’mores are also available for those wanting to enjoy the fire pits. In addition to champagne (Veuve Clicquot, of course), the menu also features numerous specialty cocktails that are perfect for the cooler temperatures (the “Kyoto” was a particular hit). Cocoa bombs are also available and make an ideal addition to a chilly winter evening. Bottle service is offered, too, if you’re looking for a splurge and packages for groups provide another fun option (the Shot Skis were another hit).

If igloos are all booked, don’t worry—there’s still plenty of additional seating. We opted for the large daybed facing the Strip and enjoyed the view so much we stayed for hours. There isn’t a single bad seat in the house as the whole rooftop overlooks the Strip and the adjacent properties—you’ll also have a fantastic view of the stunning Resorts World towers. The igloos are open Fridays and Saturdays through February 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Reservations can be made online here.
