NYC Thanksgiving: Prix Fixe Feasts and Global Twists

New York City restaurants are offering numerous luxurious and creative alternatives to home cooking this Thanksgiving, with prix-fixe menus and unique international specials available across Manhattan, Queens, and New Jersey.

Elegant and Luxurious Dining

Several high-end establishments are presenting multi-course dinners that blend classic American tradition with sophisticated European techniques and ingredients.

  • The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges is offering an elegant three-course prix-fixe menu for $228 per person, featuring Chef Vongerichten’s refined dishes such as Roasted Organic Turkey with Foie Gras and Chestnut Stuffing, Poached Lobster, and indulgent Spiced Pumpkin Pie.
  • Ai Fiori at The Langham is serving a four-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving Dinner for $155 per person, showcasing modern French and Italian Riviera cuisine, with highlights such as Roasted Heritage Turkey, veal breast ravioli with black truffle, and a Grand Award-winning wine list.
  • Lex Yard at the newly reopened Waldorf Astoria New York offers a $225 prix-fixe menu featuring elegant American classics and seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The meal provides choices like Herb-Basted Halibut or Green Circle Turkey, with lavish starters such as Island Creek Oysters and caviar service.
  • BLACKBARN, the farm-to-table American restaurant owned by Award-Winning Chef John Doherty is offering a three-course menu for $135 per adult, featuring family-style appetizers, a choice of main (including Roast Turkey and Beef Tenderloin), and desserts like Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie.

Global and International Flavors

Restaurants are infusing the holiday with distinct international flavors, ranging from Latin and Brazilian to Indian and Asian.

  • Berimbau Brazilian Table is presenting a luxurious Brazilian-inspired prix-fixe menu for $95 per person, served from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. The multi-course meal includes warm, gluten-free Pão de Queijo, followed by a choice of mains, such as Turkey Ballotine with sweet potatoes and açai glaze.
  • Leslie, a new New American restaurant in Murray Hill, is featuring a globally inspired, three-course Thanksgiving dinner special for $55, infusing traditional American dishes with bold Peruvian flavors, including a Peruvian-style turkey breast with aji amarillo sauce.
  • Pulpería Latin Mediterranean Kitchen on Restaurant Row offers a Latin-inspired celebration for $75 per person, with a three-course prix-fixe menu featuring a celebratory Turkey Paella for Two and a Mini Pumpkin Stuffed with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat.
  • INDN, America’s inaugural all-Indian cocktail bar in NoMad, is providing a novel Thanksgiving experience with bold, slow-grilled Northern Indian specialties, such as Tandoor-Roasted Chicken Angara and Garlic & Cream-Marinated Lamb Chops, available alongside its signature cocktail program.
  • RedFarm will offer an exclusive in-house Peking Turkey special for $85 at both its Upper West Side and West Village locations on Thanksgiving Day, served with 10 pancakes and a trio of sauces, alongside the standard à la carte menu.
  • House of Domes, a new Tuscan-Italian restaurant in the South Village, is serving a curated Thanksgiving Menu that merges Italian traditions with classics, including a seasonal Risotto featuring pumpkin, nduja, and stracciatella.
  • Grandma’s Home in Flatiron is debuting an East-meets-West feast featuring a Peking-Style Turkey Roulade and Black Truffle Fried Rice.
  • Eataly: Guests can choose between a $55 three-course prix-fixe menu at selected in-house restaurants, such as La Pizza & La Pasta, or order from Eataly’s extensive catering service, available for pickup in NYC, which fuses traditional holiday flavors with Italian influences.

Traditional & Community Feasts

Many venues focus on traditional, large-format dining, perfect for families and friend groups.

  • Boucherie is hosting a special French-inspired holiday menu across its four New York City locations, with the main course being Dinde à L’Ancienne ($46), a roasted turkey breast and stuffed leg roulade served with old-fashioned stuffing and yams.
  • Quality Branded Restaurants (including Limusina, Quality Bistro, and Smith & Wollensky) will all be open, offering a standardized $56 Thanksgiving Plate with turkey, stuffing, and classic sides, with each venue adding its own unique spice and seasoning.
  • Carmine’s and Virgil’s Real BBQ (both Times Square) offer generous, family-style feasts for dine-in, priced at $395 for six to eight guests. Carmine’s features a traditional Italian-American feast, while Virgil’s offers a distinctive Southern barbecue smoked turkey.
  • Blu on the Hudson (Weehawken, NJ) provides a beautiful escape with NYC skyline views and a $79 three-course prix-fixe menu featuring classic Turkey Dinner with apple-chestnut stuffing.
  • Gui Steakhouse in the Theater District is offering a celebratory three-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving Dinner for $115 per person, featuring Prime Rib upgrades and elegant shared sides.
  • Melba’s in Harlem is offering a soulful, three-course prix-fixe menu for $69 per person, blending Southern specialties like fried chicken or braised short ribs with festive appetizers.
