New York City’s Spookiest Haunted Houses and Attractions

Nothing says Halloween more than a trip to a haunted house. Wandering through abandoned hallways to find ghosts and monsters jumping out at you is a perfect way to get the blood pumping for the spooky holiday. Every year, New York City makes sure it delivers the biggest and best scares it can offer. Take a visit to one of the haunted houses or other Halloween attractions in the city to get that perfect shiver down your spine.

Blood Manor

There’s one haunted house in Lower Manhattan that’s sure to prey on all of your greatest fears. Blood Manor sits in the heart of the neighborhood and holds every type of ghost and ghoul. Its story revolves around its location being a prime destination for all kinds of evil to enter our world, so you’ll never be able to predict what horrors await you inside. Blood Manor holds themed rooms down each turn that are waiting to make you squirm. Meet the undead in “The Crypt,” encounter creeping insects in “Maggot Invasion,” and be genuinely terrified in the “Killer Clown Room.” If you want to test your limits, visit the first weekend in November and walk in total darkness for their “Lights Out Nights.” An evening in Blood Manor is the perfect way to get a dose of Halloween fright.
