Since opening its doors in 1992, Mulberry Street Pizzeria has served legendary pizzas with classic New York-style crusts, fresh ingredients, and authentic Italian flavors. The chain prides itself on using the freshest ingredients to create amazing pizzas that customers have come to love for over three decades. In addition to offering traditional New York-style pies, Mulberry Street Pizzeria also offers an extensive menu of specialty pizzas, pastas and other Italian favorites.
NY-Style Pizza in Los Angeles and Las Vegas
“What makes us so unique is the lifetime preparation it took to get, what we feel, is one of the best true NY pizzas, along with the rigorous attention to the product for our customers,” owner Richie Palmer told us. Diners can order pizzas by the pie or by the slice (the perfect late-night post-club/show snack). Options include traditional flavors, neo-classic tastes (like Hawaiian and Bar-B-Q Chicken) and unique creations like the Rigatoni Pizza and the Eggplant Parmesan Pizza.
Mulberry Street Pizzeria has two locations in Beverly Hills, one in Encino and one in Sherman Oaks. The brand recently opened a location at Resorts World Las Vegas—its first restaurant outside of California. “Las Vegas and Resorts World are a perfect fit because of the huge amount of transplanted east coasters that come to eat every day plus the millions of tourists from all over that world that want to try a real, authentic NY slice,” Palmer explained. “Plus, the celebrity clientele that we have in LA always stop into the Las Vegas location whether they’re handling a show, fighting on a card, or staying on property. You truly never know who you will see at Mulberry.” Some of the notable customers in Las Vegas include Katy Perry, who is said to have pizzas ordered whenever she plays shows for her Resorts World residency.
The Las Vegas location is the first not to have its own outdoor storefront. “The design was a conglomeration of Resorts World Las Vegas and Mulberry. It’s an absolutely perfect location,” Palmer said of the space and the layout. “You can enter the property from the Strip, and we’re there. We wanted a very visible, open concept that would mirror the original Mulberry location in Beverly Hills, and while it’s open to the property, there is plenty of room for our celebrity memorabilia and our incredible statue of Mike Tyson that greets guests as they’re coming in or walking by.”
Palmer utilized his years of experience in restaurant kitchens to cultivate the restaurant’s ideal menu. “The menu, like the pizza itself, was created by myself after spending my entire life trying every pizzeria I could and choosing what I considered the best.” Palmer and his family love sharing their favorites with customers and giving recommendations. “My favorite is one slice of cheese, sausage, and onion, along with Richie’s chopped salad, perfect for lunch or dinner!” Palmer shared with us. “The plain cheese, however, everyone who comes to Las Vegas should try our BBQ Chicken and Buffalo Chicken. Both are phenomenal!”
