Exquisite Christmas Day Culinary Offerings
Wynn Las Vegas is set to transform the holiday season into a world-class culinary journey on Wednesday, December 25. The resort has meticulously curated a series of experiences, from traditional Italian fare to modern steakhouse excellence. At Allegro, guests can enjoy Canederli in Brodo di Gallina, while Sinatra offers a specialized Carre Di Vitello. For those seeking a theatrical brunch, Jardin features Short Rib Toast and a Meringue Snowball, while Tableau serves Black Truffle Duck Confit Hash.
The precision behind these menus is a hallmark of the resort. Alaina Nieves, SVP of Food and Beverage, explains that the culinary team approaches holiday menus with the same precision and artistry that defines the signature Wynn dining experience year-round. Each dish has been crafted to fit the specific restaurant’s identity, while still honoring the spirit of the season. Ultimately, the goal is to balance festive, traditional flavors with elevated technique.
A Vision of Horticultural Wonder
The property’s physical transformation is as vital as the menu. Evelyn Herrera, Assistant Director of Horticulture, describes the immense preparation required to create the resort’s iconic look. At Wynn Las Vegas, the holiday season is a celebration of tradition and wonder. The Horticulture team plans and designs the holiday display’s vision months in advance, ensuring each element is curated to evoke joy and elegance.
This intensive process results in a comprehensive sensory experience. With a dedicated team that meticulously plans every detail of the display, the Atrium transforms into a winter wonderland of lit pine trees and poinsettias, Herrera says. Guests can also revel in the array of elaborate Christmas trees, garland, wreaths, and seasonal flora, such as French tulips, amaryllis, ilex berries, and fresh winter greens, throughout the rest of the resort. The process is equal parts creative and logistical, ensuring that when guests arrive, they are enveloped in an immersive holiday experience that feels magical yet refined.
Seasonal Cocktails and Master Mixology
The holiday spirit extends into the resort’s celebrated beverage program from December 1 through December 31. Master Mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini has designed a collection of spirited libations, including the Winter Wonderland Coquito at Casa Playa and the Yuletide Mulled Wine at PISCES Bar and Seafare. A perennial favorite, the hot chocolate bombs return to The Cocktail Collection in flavors such as Up to Snow Good and North Pole Noir.
Nieves notes that, as Wynn’s Master Mixologist, Mariena excels at exploring complex flavors and turning them into fun, engaging cocktails. She designed the Winter Wonderland Coquito and North Pole Noir Hot Chocolate Bomb to be a surprise and delight for the palate. The coquito features Bacardi 8 Rum with hints of cinnamon and coconut, while the chocolate bomb adds a bit of spice to the beloved and traditional holiday beverage. This year’s holiday cocktails are meant to capture the essence of the season and transform the beverage experience into one that guests remember after the holidays.
Interactive Holiday Master Classes
For guests looking to engage directly with world-class experts, the Connoisseur by Wynn series offers hands-on workshops. On December 19, Master Cake Artist Flora Aghababyan leads a Gingerbread House Decorating class at SW Steakhouse. This is followed on December 20 by the ninth annual Holiday Sweet Treat Workshop at PISCES Bar and Seafare, where Executive Assistant Pastry Chef Vivian Lam guides guests through decorating sugar cookies and ornaments.
According to Nieves, the holidays are a special time of year, and one of the resort’s goals is to create moments everyone can enjoy. Events like the Connoisseur Gingerbread House Decorating Class or the Annual Holiday Sweet Treat Workshop give families a chance to connect, celebrate traditions, and make memories together. These classes round out the resort’s roster of only-at-Wynn guest offerings and make each visit a truly unforgettable experience.
A Reputation for Luxury Hospitality
The commitment to a high-end holiday experience is part of Wynn Las Vegas’s broader service philosophy. Beyond the Wagyu Strip Wellington at PISCES Bar and Seafare or the Bûche De Noël at SW Steakhouse, the resort focuses on the emotional connection with its visitors. Nieves states that Wynn strives to create an atmosphere for guests during the holidays that feels refined, but also welcoming and whimsical. The company’s ongoing commitment to premier hospitality goes beyond festive menus and elegant decor, and is more about crafting experiences for guests that feel personal and memorable.
