This year, Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay opened Ramsay’s Kitchen at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston. The new restaurant joins fellow restaurants from the Gordon Ramsay North America portfolio in Las Vegas, Orlando, Chicago, Reno, Kansas City, Atlantic City and Baltimore.

Fans can enjoy classic portfolio favorites like “Ramsay’s Beef Wellington” along with fun regional flavors like the “Lobster and Clam Bouillabaisse.” The restaurant’s space draws inspiration from the region as well, with accents of brick and blue tones that nod to the location’s home city.

What Diners Can Expect at Ramsay’s Kitchen in Boston

What makes the Mandarin Oriental the perfect host property for Ramsay’s Kitchen?
Abdallah: The Mandarin Oriental, Boston is the perfect host property for Ramsay’s Kitchen because of its prime location and unparalleled hospitality. The luxury and international flair that the property brings has great synergy with the overall inspiration behind Ramsay’s Kitchen, which originated from Chef Ramsay’s global travels. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in Boston.

What was the timeframe between conceiving the idea for Ramsay’s Kitchen to opening the restaurant’s doors?
Abdallah: The concept itself took 18 months to develop with Chef Ramsay. Once that was completed, it took 12 months to build out.

How is it different from other Gordon Ramsay restaurants?
Abdallah: Ramsay’s Kitchen is unique because it gives guests an opportunity to experience Chef Ramsay’s most inspired, talked about, and favorite dishes from his restaurants and travels all in one place while also giving a nod to Boston’s local cuisine and design. The restaurant is elegant but approachable and is an ideal destination for both locals and visitors to Back Bay.

What’s your favorite item on the menu?
Abdallah: Well, I am a Maine lobster roll fanatic, so either that or the Bouillabaisse, which features freshly caught local seafood and made into this incredible dish inspired by Chef Ramsay training in France.
