Nashville has been home to numerous hotel openings in the past few years. Conrad Nashville is set to make a fantastic entrance in a growing market with a wide variety of trendy boutique properties and upscale luxury hotels. We talked with John Stack, the Director of Sales and Marketing, about the upcoming hotel and what guests can expect from Conrad Nashville.
Inside Conrad Nashville
How does Conrad Nashville incorporate elements of its Southern location?
Stack: Guests will experience a journey at Conrad Nashville, just as they would while traveling through Music City. Carefully curated art pieces unique to the hotel and completed by local artists speak to stories of the city. There are different stories to be found when turning each corner and exploring each floor, creating a series of interesting spaces that are nested within a cohesive whole. Design that incorporates an element of “social” is found throughout and represents the friendliness of Southern hospitality found here in authentic Nashville. In addition, our culinary team is greatly inspired by the Tennessee Valley traditions, with seasonal menus that rely on local farms and producers and are genuinely sophisticated without being fussy.
Are there any classic aspects of Conrad Hotels & Resorts that guests will see when they walk through the doors?
Stack: Upon entry, guests will experience bold and sophisticated design, which Conrad Hotels & Resorts is known and recognized for. Conrad Nashville is thoughtfully tailored to the destination and region in which it resides, with our bold design fusing Tennessee inspirations with modern touches that reference the scale and flow of classical architecture as well as celebrate music through rhythm, variation and materiality.
It looks like the property will have some fantastic dining options. Can you tell us about them?
Stack: Three curated dining experiences are found at Conrad Nashville – Blue Aster, The Lounge at Blue Aster and Thistle & Rye. In Blue Aster’s stylish dining room, a culinary journey awaits, with our team working closely with local farms and producers to create a delightful menu that celebrates the region’s produce, meat and seafood seasonally. The Lounge at Blue Aster offers the most innovative cocktails in the city, as well as shareable bites and afternoon tea service in the grand lobby space. The third floor, Thistle & Rye, is comfortable and classic and serves as a spot for guests to enjoy live music and globally inspired small plates spanning from tapas to dim sum.
Nashville has been a hub for luxury properties big and small the last few years; however, Conrad Hotels & Resorts are internationally known for the stunning properties in its portfolio. What will Conrad Nashville offer that guests can’t find elsewhere?
Stack: Guests of Conrad Nashville will experience purposeful service passionately delivered in a way to create the most memorable and impactful stay. Through boundary-pushing, cultivated and inspiring levels of luxury service, guests will discover and be inspired by the authentic Nashville in both style and sophistication.
