Get ready for an incredible expansion of the world of Zootopia when the all-new show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, debuts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 7, 2025. Housed beneath the park’s iconic Tree of Life, this is a huge, interconnected holiday celebration bringing the vibrant animal city right into the theater.
A Themed Broadcast of Zoogether Day
This brand-new production, inspired by the two Zootopia feature films, centers around a city-wide celebration called “Zoogether Day,” a holiday dedicated to unity across the animal metropolis.
The 4D Media Experience
The attraction inside the theater is designed as a live 3D media event, structured like an exciting broadcast hosted by an enthusiastic emcee and enhanced by special effects. Guests will feel like they’re immersed in the action as the world of Zootopia comes to life before their eyes. Even before sitting down, the walk-through entry area immerses visitors in the city, with creative zones mimicking various urban districts, including an inventive Zootopia take on Pandora called Pawdora.
The core of the show is a viewing party showcasing spectacular city events, hosted by a new character, Heidi Howler. The broadcast streams performances from different biomes, including an (eventful) ice-skating demo from Tundratowk, Marsh Market’s synchronized swimmers, a drone show at Little Rodentia, and, of course, a special life performance from Zootopia’s favorite pop star, Gazelle.
Meet the Stars and See the Tech
Guests will receive specialized (and, of course, bright orange) “Carrot Vision” glasses to enhance the 4D effects, making characters pop out of the screen. While Disney is certainly no stranger to 3D shows, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! takes on 4D in a new and inventive way, designed to truly wow audience members of all ages.
In a special appearance, the fan-favorite ZPD officer Benjamin Clawhauser will interact with the audience as a new Audio-Animatronics figure appearing live in the theater. He’ll be dressed for the occasion in glowing accessories and his essential glittery Gazelle tee shirt.
The quality of the show is guaranteed by the return of original voice actors, including Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, whose talents were seamlessly integrated with Walt Disney Imagineering and the film’s original creative team.
Extending the Celebration to Discovery Island
The party doesn’t end when the curtains close! To add to the immersion, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will greet fans at the new Zoogether Day Gathering Spot on Discovery Island, sporting new looks inspired by the upcoming Zootopia 2 film. It’s the perfect way to end an exhilarating journey to Zootopia!
