You might not think of in-hotel dining as having delicious offerings, Rosevale Kitchen is as delightful as it is unique. Housed in the CIVILIAN Hotel, the restaurant has its own entrance and a gorgeous space filled with light during the day and moody ambiance in the evenings. We were invited to check out the offerings—if you’re heading to a show, check out the Broadway Prix-Fixe menu with three courses for just $52. If Rosevale Kitchen is your main event, be sure to indulge in the menu’s showcased offerings like Tuna Tartare and the Rosevale Burger.
Clinton Hall is a fantastic spot for those looking for some friendly competition to accompany their meal. Enjoy a tasty selection of bar food favorites and an unbeatable $10 lunch menu featuring Clinton Hall’s Homemade Chili, or the Chicken BLT. We were brought in to check out the food and indulge in on-site entertainment with games like the giant wall word search and Jenga. It’s the perfect spot for a fun night (or day) out on the town with friends or family. The best part? You can find them all over NYC with five different locations. Take in fresh air at the 51st Street location with its courtyard beer garden.
If you’re looking for a taste of classic Italian cuisine, La Mela in Little Italy has been serving it up since 1985. If you’re looking for a deal, swing by during lunch for specially discounted pricing on the restaurant’s best dishes like Gnocchi Sorrentino, Linguini with white or red sauce, and Eggplant Parmesan. You can also find three different tasting menus ranging from $44-$66 for three courses so that you can try a little bit of everything that this classic restaurant has to offer. Make sure to check out the wall of fame inside the restaurant to see which of your favorite stars have visited over the years—you’re sure to be in good company!

The Museum of Broadway is a unique spot that will captivate theater enthusiasts and anyone who loves live entertainment. Filled with costumes, props, and full-on stage sets, the museum offers a fresh perspective on Broadway. Among New York’s many stunning observation decks, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt stands out with its unparalleled views. We were invited to check out the venue and enjoyed all three levels of observation space. When you emerge from the elevators, you’ll find yourself in the Transcendence space—a multi-level room filled with floor-to-ceiling windows and mirrors, offering a truly unique look at the New York skyline. Journey through artistic spaces like Reflect by Yayoi Kusama, Affinity, and Unity. Don’t miss the chance to capture a selfie on the Levitation platform, and then venture up to the top floor for a bite and cocktail at Après and a quick stop on the terrace for an unobstructed, open-air view of the city.
Maximize your visit to the Big Apple with the The New York New York Card, a convenient way to explore the city. We were gifted a pass to see how much we could see in 48 hours. Choose between the Explorer pass that gives you 60 days to see a select number of sights, or the All-Inclusive pass that gives you complete access to all of the sights on the pass for a select number of days. The pass includes access to several observation decks, most of the city’s best museums, numerous tours, immersive attractions, and even tours of some of the city’s most famous buildings.

For a taste of local living, book a room at CIVILIAN Hotel. Conveniently located between Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen, the hotel is a stone’s throw away from every major Broadway theater while also being just a little further from the hustle and bustle and the bright lights. The rooms are designed for comfort while smartly utilizing every inch of space in meaningful ways. We were invited for a visit and love seeing hundreds of little Easter eggs that throwback to some of Broadway’s greatest shows, including unique themed wallpaper on every floor (and in the elevators), a hidden room filled with Broadway costumes and props, and a spiral staircase complete with an actual Broadway curtain.
