The Hotel Rooms
The rooms at both The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and the Palazzo Tower are known for their abundance of space. Standard rooms each have a bedroom and a sunken sitting room that makes the space feel much grander and luxurious without the need to book a suite. During my visit, I had an incredible amount of space and all the necessary amenities close at hand (if you forget anything, just head on over to the Walgreens that is right downstairs). My room was so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave! If it’s your first visit or if you haven’t been to Vegas in a while, ask for a view of the new MSG Sphere. As one of the city’s latest attractions, having an air-conditioned private view is a special experience in itself.
Take a Dip
While pool season is designated for just the summer months in most cities, in Las Vegas, we enjoy pool season from spring through much of fall. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is home to a stunning pool deck that promises to be the highlight of any guest’s stay. With four large pools to choose from, visitors are in for a real treat. The sparkling waters are crystal clear and beckon you to take a dip. Lounge on the in-pool ledge loungers or daybeds whilst gazing out at the breathtaking views. The splash pad is perfect for kids, whilst the spa pool is a tranquil oasis where you can unwind in peace and quiet.
For the daredevils, explore one of the three infinity pools and feel like you’re on top of the world. The surroundings are luxuriously appointed and meticulously maintained, with not a single detail overlooked. Bringing a group? Consider renting a cabana to get out of the oppressive Las Vegas heat. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere, be sure to check out Tao Beach Dayclub—the city’s first dayclub was recently reopened with a massive expansion and upgrade.
Grand Canal Shoppes
The Grand Canal Shoppes is one of the best shopping centers in Las Vegas, and it’s right downstairs. Situated throughout The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and The Palazzo, you’ll find about 160 shops, delicious dining, and plenty of entertainment options for the whole family. No matter what you’re looking for, you’ll find it—the Grand Canal Shoppes has everything from designer goods (like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and Tory Burch), luxurious accessories (like OMEGA, Na Hoku, and Uno De 50), sweet gifts to take home (IT’SUGAR, Le Macaron, and Dandelion Chocolate), and unique souvenirs (Bauman Rare Books, The Source Electronics, and Vegas exclusive pieces at Pandora).
Dining For Every Taste
The Venetian Resort boasts a massive selection of dining options for every type of eater. If you’re in a hurry, you can stop by the food court, that’s fully stocked with familiar chains and smaller businesses featuring fun new flavors. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find the perfect restaurant. Those looking for upscale Asian cuisine should head over to Mott 32 or Tao. In the mood for steak? Delmonico Steakhouse and Smith & Wollensky both serve up some of the best steaks in town. If you’re thinking of Italian, BRERA Osteria and Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano have all of the pastas and Italian specialties you could possibly want.
You’ll find some of the city’s best seafood at Estiatorio Milos. For great Latin cuisine, check out CHICA (the restaurant serves a fantastic weekday brunch) or SUGARCANE raw bar grill. Try tasty Mediterranean fare with counter service at Miznon or a full sit-down dinner at HaSalon. Try Michelin-star cuisine from Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and indulge in some of the most decadent desserts. Enjoy family recipes from the Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro at Buddy V’s Ristorante. The list goes on and on!

If you’re looking for some raunchy fun with the over-18 crowd, book tickets for Atomic Saloon Show—Spiegelworld shows are known for their awe-inspiring performers and risque humor. Groups can enjoy a fun night out with dinner and darts at Flight Club, karaoke at KAMU Ultra Karaoke, or some high-anxiety escapism at PanIQ Escape Room. For those looking for some high-energy fun, Tao Nightclub is one of the best and most beloved nightclubs in Las Vegas.
