A Bachelorette Staycation at SAHARA Las Vegas

A Bachelorette Staycation at SAHARA Las Vegas

Looking for the ultimate bachelorette staycation? Look no further than SAHARA Las Vegas! This iconic hotel has everything you need for a weekend of fun, relaxation and excitement. From luxurious rooms to an amazing pool, lively bars, delicious restaurants and even a performance from Magic Mike Live, there’s something for everyone at SAHARA. I was recently invited in to celebrate SAHARA’s birthday with a staycation to experience everything the property has to offer, from spa treatments to elevated dining, a pool day and, of course, a night out with Magic Mike Live.

The Best Bachelorette Staycation in Las Vegas

SAHARA Las Vegas is one of the last remaining historic hotels in Las Vegas—the property recently celebrated its 70th anniversary and has hosted numerous celebrities over the years, including Elvis Presley. The hotel offers a variety of beautifully appointed rooms to suit any budget and style—the rooms here are often among the lowest-priced stays in town, and many of them have been recently upgraded. Whether you’re looking for a cozy room with all the essentials or a spacious suite with stunning views of the city, SAHARA Las Vegas has got you covered. Plus, with amenities like plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi, you’ll feel right at home during your stay.

Unwind at the Spa

Unwind after check-in with a trip to Amina Spa. The spa frequently offers promotions like 20% off facials of 50 minutes or longer and seasonal specials. Summer specials include a Pomegranate Lime Pedicure (50 minutes for $55 and an ideal way to get your feet sandal ready), an Aloe Rescue Wrap (at $65 for 25 minutes, it’s the perfect way to rejuvenate after a day in the sun), a Citrus Bliss Massage (50 minutes for $125 and great for post-exploring/hiking), and a Cucumber Cooling Facial ($125 for 50 minutes to hydrate in this desert heat). Casual Dining

After fully relaxing and rejuvenating, grab a bite at one of the many on-site restaurants. Chickie’s and Pete’s have casual fare with elevated sports bar vibes. Try the Ultimate Crabfries and the Lobster Philly Cheesesteak if you love seafood. The restaurant is also open late, with a limited menu at the bar. If you’re craving Asian food, The Noodle Den serves up a fantastic selection of familiar Chinese favorites and traditional specials. If you’re on a budget and in a hurry, Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits is fast and affordable.

Start the next day with a visit to Zeffer’s Cafe for breakfast. You’ll find all of the breakfast classics along with some new flavors like Lemon Raspberry Pancakes, Grand Marnier French Toast, Chilaquiles and more. Zeffer’s is open until noon most days and 2 PM Friday through Sunday, so even if you’re a late riser, you can still grab a hearty meal to start the day.

Relax by the Pool

No bachelorette trip is complete without some pool time, and SAHARA’s AZILO Ultra Pool is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and relax with your girls. With multiple pools, hot tubs and cabanas available, you’ll have plenty of space to lounge and unwind. Plus, with poolside bars serving up delicious cocktails and snacks, you won’t have to go far for refreshments. Depending on the season, the Alexandria Tower also has a rooftop pool that offers a more laid-back vibe.

Upscale Dinners

Dinner options are plentiful, and there’s something for every budget. If you want an elegant Italian meal, make a trip to Balla Italian Soul, the newest restaurant from James Beard award-winning Chef Shawn McClain. If you’re looking for something out of the box, book a table at Bazaar Meat By José Andrés. The restaurant is perfect for groups with a variety of items that are meant to be shared.

When it’s time to party, SAHARA has plenty of options for you and your crew. From the elegant Casbar Lounge to the lobby bar, The Tangier, you’ll find the perfect spot to sip on a drink and dance the night away. Casbar Lounge features a rotating selection of seasonal craft cocktails in a sophisticated environment, while The Tangier has a Sangria Special daily from 3 PM to 2 AM. And if you’re feeling lucky, head over to the casino floor for some gaming action.

The Main Event

And, of course, no bachelorette trip to SAHARA is complete without a performance from Magic Mike Live. This electrifying show is a must-see for any bride-to-be and her crew. If you’ve seen Magic Mike’s Last Dance, you’ll already be familiar with the show—many of the original dance routines were featured in the show long before they made the jump to the big screen. You’ll also recognize several of the show’s performers from the film. Upgrade your ticket with a meet and greet after the show to really elevate your experience. So what are you waiting for? Book your bachelorette staycation at SAHARA Las Vegas today and get ready for the ultimate girls’ weekend!
