Miss Kim from Ann Arbor, Michigan, is coming to Las Vegas for one night only on December 11. You can try the exclusive partnership menu at 8 East inside Circa Resort & Casino on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. We got an exclusive sneak peek at the menu during a hosted media preview last night and had the chance to sample all six items and the cocktails offered during the exclusive event.

8 East Executive Chef Steve Piamchumtar will be joined by Ji Hye Kim—the James Beard Award-nominated brain behind Miss Kim. “I have been a longtime fan of Chef Ji Hye’s and Miss Kim’s, so to see this dinner come to fruition is pretty exciting for us,” Dan Coughlin, Owner of 8 East, said in a statement to the press. “Guests are going to witness incredible cooking techniques, and it’s going to be hard to find another meal quite like what Steve and Ji Hye have in store.”

Chef Ji Hye Kim said in a recent press statement, “Miss Kim is all about celebrating the foods, flavors and culture of our Korean heritage. Our partnership with 8 East is a perfect match as Dan, Steve, and the team have developed a fantastic concept paying tribute to Asia’s culinary legacy. This is sure to be a beautiful evening, and we’re grateful to Circa for giving us a space to be creative.”

Menu & Pricing

The menu consists of “Chilled Buddhist Lotus Root,” “Langoustine and Pork Dumplings,” “Korean Fried Tofu,” “Char-Broiled Australian Wagyu,” “Crisp Gochujang Ribs,” and “Wild Mushroom & Truffle Fried Rice.” The menu is served family-style. Tickets to the event are $150 per person, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with seatings at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. Bookings can be made online here.
