Inside the Elevated SAHARA Las Vegas

When the itch for a getaway strikes without the hassle of a flight, a Vegas staycation is the ultimate solution. We were invited in to experience SAHARA Las Vegas’s latest updates and changes firsthand, and the iconic Strip property delivers a refreshed, dynamic experience from check-in to check-out. Whether you’re craving world-class dining, poolside relaxation, or top-tier entertainment, here is how to spend an unforgettable staycation at SAHARA.

Check-In, Casual Bites & Modern Accommodations

Mid-Day Sports Bar Fuel at Chickie’s & Pete’s

After settling in, make your first stop a mid-day meal at Philadelphia’s legendary Chickie’s & Pete’s. It offers an unexpected dose of seafood in a casual sports bar atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to watch the game as football and hockey season approach. Be sure to dive into their seafood specials, including the Ultimate Crabfries, Crab & Street Corn Nachos, and Mussels Red. If you check in early in the week, take advantage of Happy Hour from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, featuring half-off draft beers for the ultimate post-check-in unwind.

Stylish Comfort in the Marra Tower

Heading up to the room, the resort’s recent transformations are immediately apparent. The rooms throughout the property are modern and sleek, generously equipped with ample lighting, outlets, and storage space. Each tower at SAHARA features a completely different look and aesthetic. Our room in the Marra Tower was exceptionally well-appointed, boasting updated fixtures and a sleek interior that proved both immensely comfortable and functional for a relaxing getaway.

World-Class Dining & Non-Stop Entertainment

Caribbean-Inspired Flavors at Maroon by Chef Kwame Onwuachi

When it comes to dinner, save room for an opulent meal at one of the city’s best, brightest, and newest steakhouses: Maroon by Chef Kwame Onwuachi. The space was previously occupied by Chef José Andrés’ Bazaar Meat, a hard act to follow, but Maroon fills it—and the former restaurant’s shoes—beautifully. Chef Kwame brings Caribbean-inspired flavors unique to Las Vegas, wrapped in a design worthy of any night out. Highlight dishes include Jerk Chicken and Oxtail Wellington, followed by sweet treats like Milo Crème Brûlée, a nostalgic callback to the chef’s childhood beverage.

On-Property Nightlife & Shows

Guests have a variety of entertainment options to enjoy without ever leaving the property. From the world-renowned Magic Mike Live to Dueling Pianos in the CASBAR Lounge on weekends, movie nights by the pool on select Mondays, a summer concert series, and more, there is always something going on at SAHARA Las Vegas.

Morning Feasts & Poolside Relaxation

Breakfast at Zeffer’s & Ciao Bella Brunch at Balla

Morning breakfasts are both indulgent and fun at Zeffer’s Cafe, with dishes like the Honey Butter Pancakes, Zeffer’s Breakfast Skillet, and Chilaquiles providing the perfect way to start an action-packed day. If you are here on a weekend, consider grabbing brunch at Balla Italian Soul by James Beard Award-winning chef Shawn McClain. The restaurant recently launched its Saturday Ciao Bella Brunch for $55 per person, featuring family-style selections across three courses, with up to four options from starters and mains, plus unlimited dessert choices. Specialty beverages and bottomless options are also available for extra indulgence.

Sun, Cocktails, and Cabanas by the Pool

If you are looking for a great way to relax and unwind after a big night on the town, the hotel’s pool cabanas are a fantastic way to soak up some sun. The pool has a well-equipped menu of cocktails, mocktails, and poolside bites to satisfy any craving, and the large screens atop the pool walls make for fantastic sports viewing.

Evening Asian Favorites at Noodle Den

When settling in for another dinner on property, make your way to The Noodle Den for Chinese and Japanese favorites, where you will find far more than just noodles. Highlights from our visit included the Hamachi Serrano, Beef Chow Fun, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Balla Italian Soul and Chickie’s & Pete’s also provide a spectacular dinner service to round out your staycation.

Now that we’ve equipped you with everything you need to know for your next SAHARA staycation, when are you booking?
