Lydia Deetz, a teenager fascinated by death, finds her new home haunted by a recently deceased couple and a stripe-loving demon named Beetlejuice. When Lydia enlists Beetlejuice’s help to scare off her insufferable parents, he devises a plan involving exorcism, an arranged marriage, and a terrified Girl Scout.
