Set just before the High Holidays, this story follows three rabbis working together to help a family by reconciling traditional orthodoxy with the challenges of modern life. Among the rabbis is Chava, a member of a prominent Hasidic rabbinical lineage, whose future as a leader was upended when her trans identity clashed with the rigidly gendered traditions of her upbringing.
