Description
Forcella brings the charm of old-world Italian cuisine to Boston’s North End. This family-owned restaurant stands out as a unique gem in the neighborhood, blending authenticity with a personal touch. Owner Nino Trotta, a longtime North End resident born in Naples, Italy, runs Forcella alongside his girlfriend, Shannon MacGowan, who serves as General Manager and Owner Operator. The intimate, candlelit atmosphere sets Forcella apart from the larger trattorias in the area. The restaurant features a cozy 34-person main dining room, a 20-person wine bar, and a 44-person outdoor patio that’s open year-round, providing a welcoming space for guests and even their dogs, a rarity in the North End. For more private gatherings, a 14-person private dining room is also available for special celebrations. Chef Daniel Pagano has crafted a menu showcasing dishes from across Italy, with a particular focus on Naples, the Trotta family’s hometown.
